Hi everyone. I am as new as an infant to inkscape (as in I just downloaded it yesterday). I have been watching youtube videos but Im discouraged from the start because their top layout is completely different than mine. I have the default one but the youtube videos I watch have more advanced and detailed layouts. How do you change layouts? I can't figure it out for my life.
Thanks. I tried that and it did change but it looks like other people have one more layer than mine shows. I thought maybe the view could change like in word and you can add buttons you use all the time or something like that. Thanks again!

Go View and try "Default, Custom, Wide" for instance.

Question is I guess which version you see on YT and which version you´re using currently. Right now we´re on 1.1.1.
Thanks. I went back and realized I had the same view except it was so dark it was hard to tell.
