Downloading Roy Torley's Selection Basics (Inscape Tutorials) is not easy for this novice.  Am unable to find this evasive DOWNLOAD button.  Does anyone know the way?

Midway down the first tutorial page is a linked text line. Clicking directly on the link takes one to the github entry. The download button there will open the image to your browser. Right click on the download button to save.

For the second tutorial file, there was no download button to right click, but right clicking on the Raw button provided the correct result.

All right. your instructions, implemented, produced two files:  one assigned to Google, the other to a folder.  I have one question: does GO TO FILE have some function here?  Tomorrow I will try both if necessary... Thanks for helping.

I clicked on Go to file and it displayed the graphic. That was not my goal.

This is unnecessary complicated to my taste:

    1. go to "2." of the tutorial and click on this link: Tutorial01Image01.svg which opens this adress:  https://github.com/Roy-Torley/Roy-Torley.github.io/blob/master/Inkscape_Tutorial/Tutorial01/Tutorial01Fig00.svg

    2. this will get you to the GitHub site of Roy-Torley which displays the SVG in all its beauty

    3. hitting the Download button unfortunately opens the SVG in browser instead of downloading it on your computer

    4. in macOS it´s now File->Save As… locate a destination for the file and save "Tutorial01Fig00.svg" to your computer.

Normally it´s right-click on the link and say "load linked file at…" locate folder and done. (Tried that on the provided link but ends in a faulty non readable SVG file.)
