Beginners' Questions Why i can't select seperately object and letter path?

    Hello

    I am new to this forum and i don't know much about this forum, so i am sorry if there is inappropriate words in my question.

    I have object with letter which i want to select seperately, but instead of selected seperately, it become group selected. I have already set Object to Path the letter and ungroup it.

    Why the letter is group selected along with the objects?
