Please update the Homebrew cask formula for Inkscape to use the version 1.0 beta edition of Inkscape, so that the default formula that macOS users see, will contine to operate in macOS 10.15 Catalina.

For those of us who don't use Macs, could you explain what a Homebrew cask formula is?

Please use the dmg file for the beta. It looks to me as if all that cask does is download the 0.92.2 dmg, which can be accomplished for the current 1.0beta by visiting inkscape.org/releases/master  .
