On Inkscape v1.2.2, when drawing a text frame, after entering text on the first line, pressing the enter button does not produce the desired/needed affect. The cursor does not move to the next line so I am unable to type any new text beyond what was typed on the first line.Β
Have tried to change the font but the problem persists.Β
Have also tried enabling "this tool's own style" by this route: preferences / text tool / this tool's own style. The problem persists.Β
Would appreciate any assistance to solve/fix the problem. Thank you.Β
Check the "baseline spacing" in toolbar make sure it's set to "1.0 lines" or something else suitable. If the spacing is set to "0 lines" every line will be on top of each other making it look like enter doesn't work.
