The Objects window after Trace Bitmap is a narrow slit not possible to work with: Is it a bug, my error? Attached is a screenshot; look in the upper right.
If you can advise or suggest a workaround I would appreciate it.
I am using Inkscape .92.3 in KDE Neon based on Ubuntu 18.04 Linux with a hi resolution LG monitor.
This is my second time climbing the learning curve of Inkscape.
This time I am working with maps and want to bring in and simplify bitmap maps for educational use
No Linux user here - I guess "Trace Bitmap" lives under the "T" tab in your screenshot. Hit the title donΒ΄t brings it to front or closing all tools on the right and call just ""Trace Bitmap" doesnΒ΄t change anything?

The docked dialogs have a number of issues, across platforms.Β

To see a specific dialog better, un-dock it or close other dialogs.
Thank you very much.
I just undocked a dialog for the first time, expanded it and can get to the insides.
So this workaround is the solution I needed.π
