macOS Catalina drops support for 32-bit applications. Please release 64-bit editions of Inkscape, so that macOS users can continue to enjoy this program on modern computers.
Welcome to the forum!
This is already available, as far as I understand, with version 1.0 beta: https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.0beta1/mac-os-x/1010-1015/dl/
Ok, some clarification. The 32 bit issue is fixed. But according to this message thread (read the whole thing) Catalina is not supported: https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/mac-ios-catalina-issues-cant-access-inkscape-after-new-ios-download/
Some more clarification: The 32bit issue is not fixed for the Inkscape 0.92.2 dmg - that has not changed.
The latest beta version of Inkscape 1.0 supports Catalina / macOS 10.15 and it's also 64bit.
Hi - where do I get the beta version that runs on macOS Catalina?
On the Inkscape website: Download > Upcoming version > mac OS
