Some of my printing is getting a pink tone. I would like to have Inkscape control the color and not the printer. I can do that in photoshop. Can I do it in Inkscape?
Is it possible that your printer needs more ink? Most inkjet and laser printers use a combination of four pigment colours; cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. When you run out of cyan, the other colours will dominate the printed image giving it a pink hue.
I'm not familiar with Photoshop, but colour reproduction requires a complex negotiation between your software, hardware, and visual cortex. Any of these or all of these can present problems.
Perhaps you can upload your file and describe what you want to achieve.
