I have a single line font that I'd like to use, but upon further research it appears that I need to use Hershey to convert that text to a stroke font. However, when I use Hershey, giant spaces are created between each word. See the attached image which shows the normal font, Hershey text, and single line font. How can I reduce the size of the spaces that Hershey creates when I convert my text?ย
I am using Inkscape 1.3.2, newly installed on my Windows 11 OS. To get the text, I am using Quantum Enterprise's Scriptalizerย with a custom font created by Quantum Enterprise, and pasting the output into Inkscape. I then select the text and use Hershey to convert it into a stroke font.ย
I am also interested in software that would allow me to randomize the letters in my font, then convert to stroke font, then print in 1 button click. This is so that I do not need to go back and forth between the Scriptalizer and Inkscape to generate new randomized text using different letter variants from my font.ย
