    Hi, is Inkscape unstable?Β  I am trying to erase an artifact and the result is that it fills in part of the image that was already erased!Β Β 

    My God , this is a difficult program to use!

    Please take the Node-tool - select those unwanted nodes and hit "backspace" to delete.

    The eraser tool has controls. I'd use the cut-out setting.
