When I check the Alerts page for notifications (at https://inkscape.org/alerts/) some icons seem to be missing. Screenshot attached.

The main logo at the top left is clearly missing, but so are the icons on the white, red and blue buttons, and I think My Account and Log Out links should have icons too.

I'm not clear how you got to that page in your screenshot.  When I click the link you posted, it give me a server error.

I'll have to look around more closely....

Hey Brynn, if you click the My Profile link (via My Account dropdown menu), then at the very top right of the Profile page there's a tiny little envelope icon (it's very easy to overlook, unless it's flickering slightly to let you know you have notifications). Hovering over that gives a dropdown menu showing Inbox and Direct Messages. If you click on Inbox, that should take you to the Alerts page I linked to above. I was actually trying to reply to the PM you sent me the other day, and I couldn't find where PMs were, so I started clicking around, and that's how I ended up on that page.

Ooohhh.  Yeah, that envelope icon has been broken for me for many months.  I only get a server error when I click on it.  I guess that's why I got a server error when I clicked your link.

If you get email notifications about private messages, there's a link in the email to open a reply window.  I had to set up the email notification, because for a while there, the envelope icon was missing altogether.  I had no idea that it was working for other people.  I wonder why it doesn't work for me?

I never even tried the Direct Messages link, but right now, it will probably give me a server error too.

Z3Z, your pm works?  Neither my inbox or pm work, i thought they havent been activated yet, just curious?

I'm guessing the inbox doesn't work on Windows.  You can still use PMs, but you have to go to the profile of the person you want to send a message to, to use it.  And you also have to allow email notification when you receive a PM, otherwise there's no way to know if you have any messages.  Then, if you want to reply to that pm, at the bottom of the email is a link to reply, and that opens up the pm so you can reply to it.

Will be great when the inbox is working for everyone!

Brynn, fyi.  PM doesn't work for me either!  You can see the broken links. It's not even clickable. here's a screenshot.

Oh, you mean envelope icon, and then choose Direct Messages?  Ok, I found it.

I think you just don't have any messages yet.  I have a whole list of them.  I'll send you a PM, and see if it doesn't show up.

Brynn, ok, thx, I got it! thx.  I'm unable to send a reply though.  Chose new message and it says 'page not found'.  (starting to feel left out, lol).

As I said, to send a Reply, you have to look in your email for the notification about the pm.  From that email, at the bottom, is a link to reply to it.  Follow that link, and it will open the reply form.

To send a new message, you have to visit the profile of the person you want to send a message to.

ok, I thought you meant once you clicked on new msg, then you had to type in a name, sorry, misunderstood your explanation.  I never got an email, so guess I don't have that set up.
