I have been receiving the error message " Unsupported Text Elements" when I try to upload my saved SVGs into Cricut Design Space. I have looked the layers and there are not text elements in my image. Why would this be happening? TYI
I found that if you click on the text tool and then end up clicking off of it without enterning any text, it leaves behind a line in the file that says there is text in the file. This can also happen if you start typeing text and then backspace to delete it. Of course, you do want to double check that any text that is in your file has been converted to a path using the Path>Object to path. I've seen this reported as a problem on so many Facebook groups, that I've actually created a document on how to get rid of this "Ghost text". I hope this helps in the future. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2s3e1f8uf73mr5x/Ghost%20Text.pdf?dl=0
Most likely Path->Object to Path will not be sufficient as the result will be a group. Please try to convert a text-object with Path->Union - this will convert it into a compound path without any further steps like ungroup and Path->Combine.

Better check Object->Objects…
Hello,
It opens in InkScape, but I get the same error message in CricutDesign. What is the reason of this?
You just have 2 groups of grouped grouped bitmap images in your file. No vector data if that´s what CriCut expects.
how can i solve this? There are 2 png files in the image. I combined them. I exported as svg from Inkscape
As per the other thread: you need to go Path->Trace bitmap the generate vector data. SVG is just a container.
