In the attached file I ahve clipped twice. #1 was inverse clipped wiht yellow square below it to produce #2. In 3 , it was a straight clip producing #4. When I print, neither of the clipped items -- 2 or 4 will print. If I copy and paste them into WORD, all 4 print. I know that I can use this work around, but can you tell me how to print clipped iomages them straight from Inkscape? My printer is an hp 9020.
This is a long-standing issue. You've joined a long line of users stretching back to the dawn of Inkscape.
Inkscape does not print reliably on windows systems. The normal workaround is to save your image as pdf and then print from your favourite pdf viewer application.
