Beyond the Basics make defaultInkscape.svg template opening page

    1.  Opening Inkscape I get a blank default.svg page, whereas in RecentDocuments I must select my defaultInkscape.svg to have the customized version appear on screen.  How do I make it the opening default?

    Create a template and then check "Set as default template".
