    If I hold the alt key and key in 16, I see ►

    How can I do this in the text tool of Inkscape?

    Inkscape 0.92 on Mac: While writing a text, press ctrl+U and type 2023, then hit enter (see bottom of the program window, the status bar should provide a preview). I suppose the special key ctrl do the same using a windows PC.

    Inkscape 1.0 on Mac, hit cmd button instead of ctrl. There is also a dedicated window opened via Text menu/Unicode, but I prefer the keyboard shortcut.
