great reminder of that mode (sorry I don't use this program to it's full extent as I am still learning obviously) It didn't show anything extra being there.
This file was originally a drawing that I imported and traced. I have been adding more details and replacing drawn text with actual fonts (some have been put on paths)
When I print to the printer or to PDF there is an additional line showing up across the top left quadrant of my document. How can I eliminate this?
I would put a picture of it here if I knew how to do that too.
I'd try using File>Save a copy as PDF.
Attachments can be added using the paperclip button or by dragging into the textarea.
Ok I just tried the File>Save a copy as PDF but it yielded the same result
Here's the sample (thanks for the drag and drop tip)
I'm guessing the line is so thin that Inkscape won't show it. PDF readers commonly enhance thin lines (unless the option has been disabled).
I'd try using menu View>Split Mode>Split to see the geometry... it may be visible there to select and delete.

Feel free to share the Inkscape svg file for examination.

Thank you for looking at it.
Select with node tool path1 : there is a tiny node bottom right of the line, that needs to be removed, I guess.
It has a giant handle pointing to upper left of the line.
Wow! Awesome! Thank you so much for your help! That fixed it!
