Beginners' Questions Precision problem while entering values

    After entering a precise value (say 300) to W and H and clicking ENTER key, the values change to a slightly different values: 300.006 and 299.997

    As if Inkscape does not want to fix the values.

    Any help?

    Menu: Edit>Preferences>Input/Output>SVG Output has numeric precision controls. I'd try a few settings to see if it suits your project.

    I changed the "numeric precision" to 16 and it worked.
