I'm new to this and I'm trying to convert the attached file so that I can import it into a CAM program to create a tool path.  I can't seem to understand how to get the various paths to be like I would expect.  I know I'm being vague so I hope someone out there will know what I'm talking about because I really don't know how to explain it.

Depends on what "to be like" means for you...

• The shapes of the lines?
• The numerous segments?
• The outlines versus fills?

If you can be more specific, that might help.

Thank you for your efforts.   I figured it out.  The lines in my file were made up of short segments and my CAM software required a continuous line in order to find a tool path.  I simply traced over the original on another layer and the worked. Thanks anyway.
