yesterday, while creating graphics in this program, at some point the entire program was turned off, and when I wanted to turn it on again, the message popped up - unspecified fatal error ecountered, aborting. After opening the file that was created automatically after this error, it's the same, which is why I can't get to my work.
Today I used one of the earlier versions from autosave, because the more recent ones also had this problem, i.e. after opening them, this error popped up.
Everything was fine, I saved the file and turned it off. When I open it now, I get the same error.
What can I do to prevent this problem from repeating itself and is there any way I can recover my work, apart from trying to remove the error in the project files - because I tried that too, but the file is too large to deal with it.
Describe your OS (your computer's Operating System: Mac/Windows/Linux/etc. & version).
Describe if Inkscape was newly installed, or upgraded from an earlier version.
Describe the version of Inkscape and the installer you used (the file you downloaded from the web: .msi/.exe/.zip/appimage/other, PPA/Snap/Flatpak, dmg/other ).
Describe any special hardware being used, like tablet/stylus, external drives or multiple monitors.
Describe any helper/assistive programs or keyboard modifiers (macros, languages, etc.).
You said you can open this file - did you mean you can open it in a browser? If so, that's no problem for me either, I can do it. but when I want to open it in Inkscape, the program immediately crashes
When I open the file you sent, the problem persists
I suspect Inkscape is choking when it tries to calculate hundreds of path effects. I use Inkscape 1.3.2 on a very old Macbook, but I opened your file without errors.
I removed the bitmaps (5.5 MB). I ungrouped everything [Extensions > Arrange > Deep Ungroup...]. I removed all the path effects [Path > Object to Path]. This step messed up some power stroke styles. It's still a big file so I saved a compressed svg. This should give you back your designs, if you can open it.

Most definitely attach an example Inkscape svg file.
1. Windows 11,
2. I updated my inkscape version about a month ago, but I reinstalled it today because I thought it would help - it didn't. Version 1.3.2.
3. Downloaded from inkscape website (.msi)
4. Nothing like this
5. I don't know if I understood correctly, but I don't use any of those (like macros). I also don't have any plugins downloaded to the app.
I was able to open the image in 1.3.2 (Win 10).
Because you have re-installed Inkscape, I'd reset the preferences:https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/getting-back-to-square-one-and-starting-over-its-easy/.
Attached is the file after I used File>Clean Document.
I did everything you said, nothing changed.

There are some known issues with the MSI package.

Maybe try the portable version without uninstalling your already installed version.

Your file attached in message #3 opened here in Win 11.
@Niko1122,
Did you completely un-install Inkscape before upgrading to 1.3.2?
Complete uninstall is required when using the msi installer.
You won't believe how much trash is left behind.
Tested in Windows Sandbox.
