I have object that i want to give colour using shape, but i don't know how to just paste the colour, not include the shape to the object ( i don't know what it is called, so i just called it paste the colour).
How to paste the colour without paste the shape to existing object?
If you want the "K"-shape wear the yellowish color select the "K" press "D" for the color selector and click on the yellow shape. There is transparency involved in your file - not sure if this is intentional.
Well, i am sorry for being confusing... what i actually want is not making K pick colour of the shape, but rather is making the object wear it's colour at the part that i intersect the object and coloured shape and the shape vanish. I don't know what technique is called, so i just assume to called it" paste the colour".
Oh i thought there is a tool that can make you transfer ( paste) the shape colour into the object that it is intersecting with. Is this mean that i must do the colouring manually after doing the steps you mentioned above?
This is possible via "Clip-Group" in essence your "K" will be used as a clipping mask - make a right-click on it to enable it. Check out the hierarchy in the screenshot:
The stack in the Layers panel - how it´s organised to clip the yellow color shape to the "K"-shape. There are no path operations necessary in that case.

Ok - in this case you need to make 2 path operations, given the yellow shape is above the "K":
1. select both shapes and duplicate - then go Path->Intersection
2. select the 2 shapes again and go Path->Difference - you now have to separate objects side-by-side you can colorise to your liking.

You´re welcome.
