Most likely your ellipse has no fill colour and no stroke colour. Set the fill by left-clicking a colour in the palette at the bottom of the Inkscape window. Set the stroke (i.e. the outline of the shape) with shift+left-click.
@dmt05 To move it, you need to select the "select and transform" tool, the first of all. You can also use the shortcut "s" To rotate, click again on the selected object.
Seems I have an issue with ellipses.
Inkscape 1.2

I click the LMB, drag it diagonally and release it. This is what I get:
How do I make that an ellipse?

@dmt05 Hi. I have seen the video. The problem is that you have the opacity set to zero. I leave you a small sample video.
@mrks9 Thank you!!
Do you happen to know how do I move and rotate the elipse?
Seems that after I created elipse and changed tool back and forth I cant move the elipse.
Selecting eclipse in Layers and Objects or selecting by dragging clicked mouse over eclipse does not allow me to move it

@mrks9
Thanks again!
No problem 😊
