I have created a complex pattern using a combination of two path effects

1. Mirror image
2. Rotate

When I combine it with another part of the design there is a misalignment and I would like to manipulate  individual elements without the other elements been affected. I have tried ungrouping and break apart when I do that the rest of the pattern disappears. Is there a way to cancel the path effects yet retain all the elements that they created? Ideally is there a global command to do this which would leave all the elements there which I could then manipulate individually/

I´d "bake in" the effects by going Path->Object to Path.
