Hi! I have installed version 1.3 and found that when I start drawing with the Bezier Spiro pen, for some reason when I put the second point there is not the arc I want to make, but a straight line segment. It's very inconvenient. It doesn't happen all the time, but often. After deleting the second point (ctrl+z) and trying to put the point again, the tool sometimes repeats the error and sometimes draws the arc I want. I would like to add that this problem occurs in all versions of youit 1.3, in version 1.2 everything with Spiro works correctly. My operating system is Windows 10, Inkscape was reinstalled, previous version uninstalled. I installed from the .exe file. My computer has 64GB of RAM, I only use a computer mouse. I am attaching the video file. Has anyone encountered this problem? How can it be corrected? Thanks!
what's the purpose of this behavior? What does it depend on? After all, a straight line is not always drawn, and I don't understand the principle behind it. It's very uncomfortable for me to draw.

I can reproduce the behavior here. However, the line becomes curved after finishing.
I assume this is expected behavior.

You can file a bug report: https://inkscape.org/forums/beyond/how-to-report-bugs-or-request-new-features/
Click+drag at your second point or where you want to have the second node placed:
Of course I know how to do that. The problem is that between the second point and the first point sometimes there is not an arc, but a straight line.
From my understanding you can‘t have a curvature from node one. It needs a second one to determine a direction and angle.
I put the first point, then I put the second point, and between the first and the second point I get a STRAIGHT segment instead of the arc I want.
Not here - as described above.
It's a known issue.

Fixed in latest 1.4.x build.

@Aero So what do we do? I have installed the latest version 1.4 beta, but the problem is there too.
