    Welcome to the forum!

I'm glad you solved your problem  👍

In the future, please leave your question here, along with the answer you found.  It might help someone else who is having the same problem!

    Hi. Thanks Brynn

In the end, it was very similar to accessing characters when using Word. But for some reason, the first font I tried wasn't compatible with Inkscape. There are some good YouTube videos specifically about using a character map in Inkscape.

    Best wishes,

    Mike

If the question has been deleted and the found video (and a reconstruction of the question) can't be made, we should probably delete the whole thread brynn.

I didn't intend to try and recreate the question and answer.  I was just asking the member, in the future, not to delete their message, just because they found the answer.  If we don't explain to members the correct behavior, then we will have people doing this all the time, and thus creating all the more work for moderators (which there is too much of already).  That's why I wanted to try and explain, rather than simply delete the topic.

(Of course, if we were allowed to delete our own messages, as opposed to only remove the text from the message, this never would have happened.  I seem to recall warning about this some time ago 😉)
