I have a CorelDraw X4 file that I exported to SVG. I selected to export the text as text (not curves) in the settings and to embed the fonts. When I open the SVG in Inkscape, the text is rendering as curves. Is there a setting somewhere I need to enable to have it come through as text? Thanks!

Sounds like a Corel thing, actually. 

Feel free to attach a Corel file and the svg export, I can compare to an export from Corel x4 I have at the office.
