Using Inkscape with Other Programs Interoperating with LazPaint, MyPaint and DrawPile

    Hi folks,

    I am excited to announce that it is now possible to open and save Inkscape layered SVG files in LazPaint (free opensource image software). You can thus scale and transform, mix raster and vector layers and save it back to Inkscape.

    Another interesting possibility is to save to OpenRaster format, that you can then open in MyPaint or DrawPile that support SVG layers. Otherwise you can rasterize layers and then the OpenRaster file will be ok for Krita or Gimp.
