I'm studying javascript to learn logic, soon I'll learn python... :D if nobody works on it I'll do it lol, maybe until I'm 80 I'll complete it... just like the evolution of gimp... 😄
If you learn some very basic python - you can use PIL to output to CMYK, but it is not the same as working in native CMYK - it just makes a colour conversion - which will be compatible I think but 'Muddy' ie not a colour match for the original.

I've been talking to the people from the timing track program at https://activitywatch.net/, I'm having trouble recording the time worked in files, I'm looking for solutions, I'm seriously thinking about creating an extension that:
1-log date and time each time the file is opened, saved and closed.
2- name the backups with random names, (like those crazy reddit names) so they don't oversave
* Output files in CMYK
* An easy halftone creation tool
