Is there an API for adding live path effects (from a GenerateExtension if it makes a difference)? That is, I want Inkscape to calculate the generated path; I don't want to have to do that manually from my script.
I suspect the answer is no given that I haven't yet found an existing extension that appears to add a live path effect, but I'm hoping I simply overlooked something.
