    Hi all,

    I want to know that it is possible to access and change document properties (Ctrl+Shift+D) and change some settings using the new python API..??? if yes, then how..????

    No,it's not possible in the API. Although it is possible to change the xml file, it would be over-wirtten by Inkscape when it closed.
