Hey Guys, I have an inconvinient here, I have a svg file with a storm trooper mask made as a mesh. I need to use this file for engraving in acrylic with my CNC.

The problem is that the paths of the mesh arent joined so my cnc´s tool goes up each time a line is engraved and there are a LOT of lines in the file so I need a way to join the lines of the mesh together so my CNC could understand it and make the engraving without lifting up the bit for every single line.

In the picture, the green lines represents each lifting up that the tool has to do, and that is a waste of time, I hope you can undestand my problem, any solution will be appreciated

I don't know of any shortcuts to get what you are seeking.

Either the machine connects the lines or the human does, and the machine will be faster and more accurate.

I'd set my toolpaths to have minimal clearance height to reduce the time for all the z axis moves.
