Using Inkscape with Cutters/Plotters Inkscape 1.4 save as .dxf is missing all text

    Hello,

    I need to export a design as a dxf R14 so it can be used in a CAM program to generate toolpaths/gcode for engraving on my CNC router.

    However, none of the text seems to export into the .dxf.

    I have searched around and this seems to have been an issue in Inkscape

    That issue was closed 1 year ago !?

    Does anyone know how I can get this working at all?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried to convert the text to paths with Path->Union already?

    I have just tried that by selecting text and then Path->Union. But once saving as a dxf with setting as attached, it now says I could not save the dxf file. No explanation given.
