When exporting some SVGs to PDF, the resulting PDFs are not readable by AcroRead.
For example: transforming a.svg to a.pdf works fine (see attachment), while transforming aa.svg (which is very similar to a.svg) to aa.pdf does not work (see attachment).
The obtained aa.pdf is not readable by AcroRead. This does not occur in inkscape 1.0.1.
The same happens when exporting to PDF in GUI or via command line.
On the other hand exporting SVG to EPS works fine.
