I'm always grateful that I can use a great program like Inkscape for free. However, the newly developed inkscape 1.3 version cannot load the pdf file. In version 1.2, the file still opens well. I'm currently using Windows 10, and when I ran inkscape on cmd.exe, I got the following message. Why won't the file open in version 1.3?
There has been some major code refactoring on the PDF-front of Inkscape. 1.3 is indeed still in beta, so filing a bug report would probably be highly appreciated (sharing the PDF file if possible). This way, the developer can reproduce the bug (or confirm that it is already fixed in a nightly build).
This is the great thing about open source development: as a community submitting good bug reports really pays off.
