I'm making a single-line open contour font through High-Logic FontMaker (In TTF. or .SVG) but when I try to type with it on inkscape, it automatically closes the contour by adding a line between the starting point and final point.
Apparently this is because Inkscape has a tough time handling true Single-line fonts? I know there's a solution that involves writing a phrase and converting the text itself to vector graphics and removing the line manually. But is there any way I can just get Inkscape to recognize my font without it automatically closing the contour?

Can you provide samples?
I made this extension to automatically reopen those paths.
