Watching Inkscape Tutorial: MLP Eyes
At 2:00 he starts to make a iris:
Make an 5-point elipse and then create a rectange.
Can someone explain to me why do we need a a rectange?
My idea was: Create a big elipse for Iris, color it, add gradient and then add inside elipse Pupil.
They are using the ellipse to clip the group and adding the rectangle as a gradient overlay inside the group. It is more complicated, but makes more interesting highlights in the iris.
I see. Thanks
