I am old, semi-retired and poor. My work is in the realm of comics and Graphic Novels. The first program I ever learned was Adobe Illustrator, but now I live and breathe Clip Studio Paint (CSP). (Can't recommend it enough, btw.) It has its own Vector Tools, but it cannot do some things, while doing many more no other app can. My goal with Inkscape is to get it to copy SVG paths back and forth with CSP. Supposedly, this IS possible with Illustrator, but not Inkscape (nor Affinity Designer, which I have concluded is a big nothing-burger, with so many "missing features" that it may as well be ghost-ware). I hope to someday learn Blender; I understand its "Freestyle" renderer can make SVG files sit up and beg.
