Get Project To the point Where you're ready to save copy in.
Everything You want to be Satin needs to be Duplicated, and Before you click on Anything after you hit duplicate, while the duplicates are still selected, Go to Extensions > Ink/Stitch > Edit > Selection to Pattern. Done.
The Pictures Included Show the Outcome of Using That Method. If It's Not Named, I'll call it The Doctor Smooth Satin Setup
