Hi,

I use inkscape 0.92 un my Ubuntu Studio.

I would like to create a logo, a big "C" and inside "3" and "W"

So I think first I have to write a "C" . I follow this tutorial : https://blogs.lyceecfadumene.fr/informatique/files/2012/02/4-textes.pdf

  It' s written to type F8 or "A" (at left) to activate the text tool.

  I did the 2 ways but impossible to write anything...

  I think I forgot something, but what...

I would start by exploring the Tutorials in Inkscape's Help menu. They are fast and easy.

I would find an other way to do what I would like, it' s faster and easyer

Can you provide more description or attach a sketch?
