Guys I'm so upset, I have a huge project to work on but we don't have access to adobe illustrator anymore so we were going to use inscape but it doesn't work! I have a mac os version 13.7 laptop and I can't even get the app to open, so I can't even report an issue like it says on the website! I was so excited to try this but now I have to look elsewhere because neither version available for download for macs on the website work. I've tried both downloads 3 times each, after complete deletes from my laptop so no lingering paths were left. Just disappointing. Does anyone have other ideas to help the app launch? I double clicked each time it from within my launchpad or finder, and then in my dock the app icon would appear and begin to bounce as it does when trying to open an app, but then nothing else...
Describe your OS (your computer's Operating System: Mac/Windows/Linux/etc. & version).
Describe what processor is in your computer: Intel or ARM.
Describe the version of Inkscape and the installer you used (the file you downloaded from the web: .msi/.exe/.zip/appimage/other, PPA/Snap/Flatpak, dmg/other ).
Describe any special hardware being used, like tablet/stylus, external drives or multiple monitors.
Describe any helper/assistive programs or keyboard modifiers (macros, languages, etc.).
3) I first tried the version on inkscape arm64 architecture, Mac os 11+ but after it not working and completely deleting the app and related paths I changed to the other version Intel architecture machine is 10.3+ to repeat those steps but I still got the same results as described above. The form downloaded as an .exe I believe.

2) processor 3.5 GHz dual core intelligence core i7
Graphics - intel iris plus graphics 650 536 MB

Both the Intel64 and ARM64 downloads for MacOS are .dmg files. I'd ensure to download the .dmg for Intel

How do I do that? I click download and it automatically gave me that file type, should I also still try the 11+ version since my laptop is 13.6.7?
No, I wouldn't use the ARM 11+ version, it's a different cpu.
