    Hi guys,

I want to cut a form out of a rectangle (Image 1), but when I align the two objects and choose Path -> Difference, only straight lines are drawn into the form (Image 2). It works wonderfully with a rectangle and an oval. I'm grateful for any help.

Could be the form isnΒ΄t a continuous stroke; select every node of the "form" with the Node tool and hit where it says: "Join selected nodes".

Thats it, now I will figure out why. But in between, i will connect them, but the end nodes lie on top of each other. Is there a trick to select both nodes without moving them?
