I have been using Inkscape for the past year or so, and I am running into an issue that when I open any files or the application its self, it opens shrunk down and zoomed out on the file its self.
Updating my Mac version (I'm now on 15.4.1)
Uninstalling and reinstalling Inkscape (I'm on Inkscape 1.4 (e7c3feb1, 2024-10-09) )
Changing my default document size

I doubt uninstalling has much effect when the bits&bytes in the user library/application support folder are not included. I use free AppCleaner app for that purpose. Maybe try to reset Inkscape Preferences first and check its behavior after a restart.
