    For some reason, the Inkscape canvas scrolls to the left on its own, as seen in this recording: https://youtu.be/FKB3cnKo-JY

    Inkscape Version: 1.1.2

    Windows Version: Windows 11 Home v.22000.675

    Steps to Recreate:

    • Opening any Inkscape canvas/window

    Notes and Observations: 

    • Scrolling stops when mouse moves out of canvas space, e.g. Inkscape menus, other windows, etc.
    • Scrolling occurs even when mouse is unplugged
    • Bug occurs even after clean reinstall
    • Have used Inkscape with this issue since March. Bug seems to have manifested randomly, overnight.
    • No new software was installed recently, besides regular Windows Updates.

    Sadly Inkscape is completely unusable to me now due to this bug. I'm hoping somebody can offer some assistance.

    Well, that's different.

    I presume you have tried resetting the preferences in the System section of the Preferences dialog. I'd check for the default Inkscape keyboard in the preferences too.

    Single monitor?

    Which installer was used (.msi, .exe, etc.)

    Uninstall and reinstall Inkscape... unplug all peripherals... the usual potshots...
