Hi all,
I'm very new to inkscape but making good progress thanks to all the help out there. I'd like help with creating the two "petal" type shapes you see on the side of the circle for this chakra: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d1/Ajna_Mandala.svg/1200px-Ajna_Mandala.svg.png
I can easily make the centre circle and upside down triangle. Any advice for the side petals?
Thanks :)
Use Bezier curves, making use of the grid to ensure the node handles are symmetrically positioned. Increase the mitre length in the Fill & Stroke dialog to get a suitably pointy end to the part where the two line segments join.
Hi, I am attaching Inkscape SVG file that will help you.
Also watch this video for more help and ideas.

Thank you both for the help. I shall give it a go!
