Beginners' Questions Dropdown menus don't stay open (Mac OS)

    Hi all.

    First post here, new Inkscape user.

    I use a Macintosh and the first thing I noticed in Inkscape is that the dropdown menus don't stay open when you click on them.  You have to press on them to keep them open.

    Is it me or Inkscape?
