I have drawn a rectangle. It's fairly close to the right edge of the page.
I'm trying to resize it by dragging the handle that's in the middle of the right edge of the rectangle.
Inkscape won't let me do it. As soon as I start dragging, a small red "x" appears.
It looks like I could make the rectangle smaller, but not longer, unless I go beyond the page border!!!
I fixed it myself by de-selecting the "Toggle snapping to bounding box edge mid-points" on a wild guess.
Fine. But could someone point out to me where in the documentation I could have found an explanation? Specially about the appearance of the small red "x"?
The red x is new... I'm not sure there is documentation on it, but I don't think it's germane to moving your object... that is likely just the snapping active.
