Hello I have created various images in inkscape. The issue is that I have several Inkscape documents, and it just feel very disorganized. Does anyone have any tips about how to organize the work you have created over several months?

It depends of course on how you plan to retrieve the information. In my case I use descriptive filenames with a revision number and use macos's thumbnail preview to browse the documents. I'm sure the same is possible in Windows and Linux.

Hi. I'm also interested -have some ideas but not a working solution.

I'm using a folder structure for each project named based on the date and a description.

    Something like "2024.01.15. - challenge-animal".

This kind of date format sorted by the folder's names works fine as sorting by the creation date.

Thus using the date significant to the content. Either the starting of the project or if it's for a contest then the submission deadline.

The space-dash-space separation may seem an overkill but adds a better visual reference when you are browsing for the content and not the date.

Avoiding any unnecessary subfolders -like separate folders for each year.

That's because there are projects spanning through more years and when browsing through other month/day shortened dates it gets confusing between different years.

So far it works, however I still have only around 150 folders with dates from the past 20 years.
