Hello,
I'm a newbee been using Inkscape about 1 month, on and off. using ver. (Inkscape 1.3.2 (091e20e, 2023-11-25, custom).
Have not noticed any other issues with this version so far.
Using windows 10 on a laptop with BT Mouse.
I have been following a you tube video " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmJGpBJFBxY&t=8201s " and at time mark 2:16:23 mins in, I'm having a problem with my text.
This was installed over an earlier version that I downloaded, but did not use much...
It appears that a prior function is using the last used option (I think) and I can not figure out what, or how to reset this, or fix it.
Have searched to find a solution, but not luck.
So, When I use the Ariel font, and execute the "stroke to path" function, the text is effected with a glitch as shown in attached file.
It does it on different text fonts also, but the glitch is a little different in each font.
It seems to be a second, or split stroke function..?
I follow and get all the correct steps to this point, but text is not right, as shown in file.
I've been stuck on trying to understand this for 2 days.
Really want to know what the issue is as I learn the s/w.
Maybe its a bug in this s/w ver...?
Thanks in advance.
Cliff
