The manual that Tyler Durden links to is for Inkscape 0.9. Not much use with 1.2.
I've also found https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/60/Manual_Inkscape.pdf which says it's a user-editable shareware manual. I don't know which version of Inkscape it's written for but it seems pretty old. For instance, the magnify hourglass tool is near the top of the toolbar (which is where I like it, as it happens) not near the bottom where it becomes invisible unless you're almost full screen. The only pages I've read, on 3D boxes, have errors. I'd be happy to help edit a manual but don't know how to offer.
I cannot access the Inkscape manual. I get a 403 error code. ?
ps. have I asked this Q in the correct forum ?
Perhaps this is the right place to get noticed:https://chat.inkscape.org/channel/team_website
It's being worked on. No estimated time of restoration.
Thanks @Polygon & @TylerDurden

Hi Chris, there is a team dedicated to Documentation and I'm sure they'd welcome any help you can give.
