I am creating files to CNC cut, when exporting DXF's anything I create combining paths using the combine functions translates a smaller version of the shape and places it scaled down in the upper right quadrant. All else looks good. Files are pretty simple, two layers with stroked paths and just a few large parts to cut out.
I had a similar problem. After saving as a DXF and loading the DXF file, all the shapes were out of place and out of scale. I had recently upgraded to the latest version of Inkscape (1.1.0), so I reverted back to a previous one (1.0.2) and it is now working. Hope it helps.
Thanks Jean-Baptiste, absolutely worked, 1.0.2 is so much more stable also. I should have guessed, 1.1 was crashing often as well, guess there are some bugs to work out in the new version. Hopefully off to CNC soon!
