The old Tiled Clones doesn't come up at all on my Mac Pro Laptop. Clicked on it nothing happens.

Old Settings:

Symmetry: 5 rows, 1 Column
Shift X: 0, -100 / Shift Y: -100. 0
Rotation: 72,0

Expecting:

Gotta move the rotation center. But the OP issue is missing the dialog.

fewerjunk, is the dialog docked or on another display (multi-monitor)?

Polygon, I get that's what you get.  Here's what I get.   If I got what you got, this wouldn't be a problem.

Tyler, yeah that.  Here's what I get in Inkscape for Mac v1.0.2 w/Tabs:

 

P.S. I closed all the tabs and tried it from the menu.  It made no difference.

I used Edit->Clone->Create tiled Clones - not the LPE Tiling.

Just in case the image is your goal and not Tiled Clones I used Extensions Scatter or LPE Rotate Copies instead.

NB, as Pollygone says, 1.2 is still beta, so there be issues.

As far as getting the LPE to do the same... I'm not running the beta yet, meself.

Polygon, tried both methods.  LPE Rotate Copies was easier to figure out, but, neither is as easy or straightforward as (the old) Tiled Clones.

It's beta.  So, I'm not expecting everything to work.  Here's hoping it's noticed and fixed.
